Ms . Young has worked with training and development for over 25 years. She is also recognized for her proven achievements as Director of the CACT (Center for Applied Competitive Technologies) Program at De Anza College. Ms. Young has served as president of the National Coalition of Advanced Technology Centers, board member of the Silicon Valley Small Business Development Center, and chair for the CACT Industry Advisory Board.  Ms. Young served as a Board member and Director or Corporate Relations of the Silicon Valley Regional Council for Excellence.
